#13 Welcome back

There's a quote, saying
"A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself", and there is a another quote "friends can tell you a lot about you" these quotes are so true, in fact when I was with Hayley today we encountered "a group of people ;) wink wink ( people who we already know, from school)" And I rhetorically told her " friends really do reflect their personality, and that  leads to making friends with similar tastes or attitudes..." Now, i brought up this fundamental quote because this saying helped me understand and not only understand but to reflect who I am again, whether a person has a bad or good attitude it all really links to friends because they are the listeners for you and the leaners which also, is linked into pressuring and encouragement.

Today, as I mentioned, my friend Hayley and I went on a date, (ofcourse; Friend date :) ) to Auckland City, I missed her so much, because believe it or not i haven't  seen her since, like, last year? Probably..? Yesss i know, its been a while. Hayley has been in Hong Kong over the summer holidays and I was so delighted to see her face again, and today we hung out with our beautiful faces back on!

As usual Hayley was always beautiful (:aww

To: Hayley
Did you know i normaly would stay home like a hippo and never ever go out. But today I made outside just for you. <3

Anyways we meet up and we pretty much went everywhere.

My Motto's is : "We were born to eat" so as soon as we got off the bus and arrived at the city, yes, that's right we went looking around some good brunch/lunch. The WEATHER was terrible. I swear it was more like winter now... where's summer?

LONG TIME NO SELFIE, (DOUBLE SELFIE?)

As soon as we got off the bus, our destination :
Britomart, Auckland,

look what we found. FOOD PLACEE OMG
Cute ae?

We are such a hungry hippos. We couldn't actually decide what to have for lunch so we kind of had to walk for about an hour? - on the street ( RAINNING POURING DOWN, GUST OF WIND BLOWING) Searching for food, like a lion in Serbia I don't even know what im talking but you know what I mean!

Not the best weather, but it was the best time for bazar memories? haha

bird poop on my head. NOTT.
Its just a rain drop.

 FOUND A PLACE TO EAT!
delicious and delectable café : Shaky isles coffee. co.
Hayley's menu: Toast with cheese, tomatos and advocado
Jenny's menu: Taco with avocado salsa and some tasty red beans?

The café atmosphere was great. It really seemed like a staff meeting area because the interior made it all unique and different.

We also visited a candy shop which was imported from London! wohoo. my dream hometown? hah
To be honest i think it was more like locally produced candies, hah by the look of it?
 Great buildings near Queens street

Like, Jenn IM, we love shopping and adore the unique fashion sense and tada here we are, we ended up not getting anything, the prices were high compared to America's 2nd handed clothing shop so we left. :(

Chocolate café,
yum yum yum and yum.
Our tummy never gets full.

Jenny and Hayley  <3 tea. This is Tea2 it is located near Britomart, and its the best tea shop I have visited in my whole life.

 Some tea testing here!

We came accros this awesome pie store and it made me think of the teletobies pie :)
Time flies i think this was the last photo shot. Exhausted but made tons of fun memories thanks Hayley!

AND THANKYOU EVERYONE :)

.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day and don't forget that "friends can be similar or different, and their traits are at a level for which you aspire; they are your role models."
TREAT YOU FRIENDS WELL OKAY?

#12 It's Zoo time

5/01/2013
Today, I got up (Actually, I really had to force myself to get out of my bed; for the first damn time!!), The Jang's family had already planned for this special day out (for ages to the Zoo) so we decided to go today because my parents have limited time. We went to the Auckland Zoo, and this place is one of the most  popular and visited attraction in New Zealand, when you come here? (probably because of the Kiwi bird)but it was good though.! Despite the horrible weather.
So here is my OOTD, (picture taken under the old and dusty shelter because the rain was pouring hard out. It was really not the best day to go out.

I was actually going to wear this outfit but I thought twice about the weather today so I wore something else. :-(

Quick shoot when the rain stopped; what an adventurous day for me trying to not get wet.

So funny how it turned out that most of the animals were all gone,  ( most likely to be under the shelter or something trying to avoid rain just like me ) so we didn't get to see a lot of animals. It wasn't the best day of my life but the time spent with my lovely family was awesome.

Next time I should plan something more exciting and fun for them? or maybe not?

#11 Postcard Swaps

It's almost a year since I started writing postcards to my friends overseas, and to the people who I have never ever met, how did I find these people? I met them through Instagram;   And ofcourse, I didn't accept every random request, I had to actually research and I guess not to be a freak but (Stalk); just to be safe and secure.

I recently started to get more involved with this "Postcard swaps", simply because I have more time, yess (freedom! HOLIDAYS!) but eventually.... it won't last forever but in that amount of time given to me (tadaaaahhhh. the angel sings)... I want to do something special and thoughtful.
Making a thoughtful letter to someone I know, isn't that hard because I know them well  (duhh.), but when it comes to writing random people like, 'what the heck am I suppose to write ....or like i have little knowledge about them, well "these people"... ; I kind of struggle a lot'! but it actually helps me calm myself down and encourages me to think twice as much. The incoming mails I receive can make my day, and some inspire me. This taught me both cultural differences, and their personal struggles. So, so far, I have sent to Switzerland, Germany, Korea, Australia, Philippines, and much more. Collecting postcards are one of my hobbies now since I have abundance of them all carefully kept inside my secret locker.

" I hope I can visit these lovely people one day, and I  really hope I keep in touch with them as long as I can. Sometimes , it reminds me of writing a letter or a personal  diary about my thoughts to another me. "

To be honest, when I started sending out the postcards it was me just dabbling in art few years ago, compelled by the idea of art journals and I was doing my hardest to fill a sketchbook or cards with paint smeared pages and meaningful words, and sending that to my friends overseas but later I figured out it took me a heck of a time, and I didn't wanted to force myself, I mean I love   playing with the different techniques but I couldn't waste my time tooo much one that... you know what I mean ! (when things can get a big busy!) But this year maybe, maybe, I can pick that technique again even though I will be even mmooree crazy and busy? Who cares! I guess I found my self a nice hobby?

Oh, between;  I will upload  the pictures asap, of  postcards and the letters next time! but for now I will upload my penpal's just to give you an idea of what it feels like to have a lot of cool letters and postcards.

#10 LAST day of 2013

Confession:
This Christmas was slightly out of control, and the morning ended with the most epic fight that we, as a family, have ever had. There were seriously no presents at all under the tree except for a box of chocolates. Knowing that I have left it over night to just  make the Christmas theme look more accentuated but then my cousin and my brother came along fighting for the chocolate and, yes, a long story behind it. Christmas morning that day was an interesting day. But in the end I didn't get any Christmas presents from anyone how wonderful. (BUT, i was glad I got my chocolates returned back yess horray whoop.) I asked my parents to go to church but we ended up not going.

----
New Years is upon us and here I am breaking the world record for" sleeping 16 hours" straight. Sounds a bit crazy, but yes I do feel disorientated. However I will try to do my very best in 2014 not to procrastinate my time because next year will be my last year of high school.

Today, the last day of 2013 I woke up super late and yes late as in 4-5 pm. That's because I knew I had no life, nothing else to do except for reading, tweeting, rebloging, facebook and much more. My eye sight is getting worse being from -2 to -5 this year. I should at least try to use less of that stuff next year. Speaking of New Years some of my friends on facebook are planning their 2014 resolution which I thought it was quite stupid, I mean isn't it so so so logic and obvious because everyday is a new day and within that time its ahead start? but on the other hand yes it is quite true because 2014 could possibly be a perfect opportunity to renew personal goals, start something afresh & perhaps even change parts of your life you are unhappy with.
.

Anywho, I came up with few ideas for me and the list of my top five resolutions, I have lots of little ones too but these are the important ones to me.

 1. Be more healthier
Yes, I said it. I have gained a lot of weight this year so setting a new and healthy goal might improve my mood, not only emotionally but physically too? I hope it works alright because I am keen to do that. But in order to do that I need to exercise, eat healthy and plenty of water. The reason why I need to do this is because 2014 will be a crucial year. And I need to maintain a healthy diet to focus in school, activities and much more!! (FML LAST YEAR OF HIGHSCHOOL)

2. Stick with the positive and ONLY close friends
This comes down to stop procrastinating, why is this? because I reckon friends who are fake, trying to make drama, or people who really have no life so they tend to do something stupid  and much more useless people are sooosoosoo Disappointing but not only that; it is worse than..." procrastination". This year there were a lot of school drama especially around the exam time, I wonder why...
I remember the first day of 2012 attending new school until now; it has been tough for me. I remember I cried almost every night  because adapting to a new school making new friends was hard and difficult, with nonsense rumors. It is quite awkward until now, but I don't have a choice but to believe in myself,& stick with the good and the positive friend. I have strongly committed to myself not to waste time on others who don't even give a fuck but likes to talk shit. heh.
I know I will have a good life so yes. That's it pretty much.

 3. School work, and school attendance.
I have missed a lot of school this year. I won't go into details but one reason was I was really uncomfortable with everyone, adjusting was hard even though years past but it was just not ... I don't know how to say this but it was hard. I'm not saying I am weird freak who is anti social but I guess everyone has different personality, different way of meeting good friends and etc. you know what I'm saying right... haha but in 2014 no matter what rocks and shit blocks in my way. I will clean them up or atleast step it with my own bare foot and go to school. (shit and rocks =meaning school probs)

 4. Blog at least three times a month
The real plan was blogging once a month. I said three a month simply because there is  no point of this diary/blog ( I like to call it my diary so yes, most diary's are written everyday....but once a month would be not enough even 3 times a month is so less)

 5. Live in the moment, be more mindful, enjoy small blessings.

#9 SECRET MISSION

ok. so on 26-28 of November, I secretly booked a flight as well as hotel to WELLINGTON

yes, THATS right. I paid it. I got broke so bad but it was really worth it, the trip was amazing it was me, my mummy, my brother John.

I had planned this way back on August because right after my birthday I actually managed to save up a lot of money from presents and both work. I quit my job now, so as you know I am PENURIOUS ;'(

Day one: was quite a debacle why? because the weather was horrible and I only told my mum and my brother about the trip the day before which was a bad timing, I should have told them a week before. LESSON LEARNT.

But I was glad they all went, ( I didn't book my dads because he kind of helped me with this planning but decided not to tell mum and act like he didn't)

so, mum and my brother agreed and believe it or not they were more excited than I was, :)
This photo is the wellington central water front. I have been to   wellington once before, for this wearable art to wear show for a school trip. Anywhooos, picture of my beautiful mother and my grotesque brother.
BASICALLY I BOOKED A HOTEL WITH A VEIW IT COSTED MORE BUT I WANTED TO SHOW MY FAMILY SOMETHING SPECIAL <3 ( oh, the hotel was called Rydges hotel)

NOT A GOOD WEATHER, IT WAS WINDY,
THIS IS THE FAMOUS and I believe IT IS WELL KNOWN STREET IN WELLINGTON - "CUBA STREET" I RECOMMEND THIS STREET FOR PHOTOS AND FOOD.
I LOVE THE WHOOLY'S WHICH IS LIKE A BAGEL & PIZZA RESTAURANT AND IT'S A  NEW YORK BRAND . ITS DELECTABLE <3 MUST TRY.
 WATER FOUNTAIN IN CUBA ST''
I really love how the buses are yellow in wellington and some are cabled :)
my mama loves photos. So I took a descent photo of her outside starbucks in Lambton Quay ST.
SHOP SHOP SHOP SHOP SHOP SHOP SHOP
basically yeah
The second day: we went to the cable car, it was really boring, I don't get why its a famous attraction in wellington, id rather shop. we wasted time and money there its just really... THERE IS SERIOUS  nothing up thereBUT TREESS AND HORRIBLE CONSTRUCTING BUILDING OK? FFPSS I HATED IT..... USELESS STUFFF
"BBOOO"

I look gross but please understand me, this photo was taken after a heck of a tiring day, after walking for 9 hours, after eating pasta and pizza and experiencing the gust of super strong wind in Wellington. what a great day ... haha.. perfect combination right?

john lets take a photo together!
nooo ew.
cmon.
(hides behind me)
wtf where are you.
(mum shoots)

I bought a couple of magazine in New World, and oh sweet Jesus I absolutely love the New World there. It is just so different to the Auckland Version. There are more breads, cookies and omg u name it its so cool. I thought New World was a bakery or something.

 Day 3: LAST DAY!
yes, I started the day waking up at 7 am taking selfie. ( #sorry not sorry)

 TEPAPA MUSESUM

APPARENTLY DUE TO A STRONG GUST OF WIND, WE HAD A FLIGHT DELAY ON THE WAY HOME, WE WAITED FOR 7 HOURS. WE FOUND A FLIGHT TO NAIPER AT 11PM WHICH WE WAITED FOR AN EXTRA 2 HOURS, NAIPER TO AUCKLAND.

INCONCLUSION I HATED THE FLIGHT. IT WAS BUMPY :( I really felt sorry for my mum and my brother....
I will never decide alone
it was my dads fault too
im sorry :(
LESSON LEARNT
HEHE MY UGLY POSE IN THE HOTEL
OUTSIDE TEPAPA, WITH MY BROTHER (CRIES, HE'S TALLER)
I LOVED THE HOTEL, AND I WILL VISIT, again ONE DAY !
the food in the hotel were expensive and it was delicious too
 <3
THE END

THANKYOU FOR READING.

#8 SUMMER HOLIDAY 2013

Hahah been a while since I blogged last time!

I had been very busy because my relatives came to visit us, so I had to do a lot of work! ( making excuses, right? ) hahhahhaha opps.

Anyways, it's my grandma and my cousin (7 years old cutiepie boy) who came to NZ to see what New Zealand lifestyle is like, and not only that but to experience the exotic culture we have here, both old and Morden things. I'm pretty sure, after seeing the lifestyle we have in New Zealand  they will think differently maybe? because  it is a big difference compared to korea. What do you mean by difference?
well I can't list them all but mostly freedom(?), Koreans are like robots they work. study. sleep. wakeup. work. study. eat. so yeah.  especially my little cousin, who is getting used to this world. hahah he loves here.  he is  really adapting to NZ lifestyle. hahaha or maybe he will decide to stay here for us forever? (NOOOOOOO;) but seriously idk.
BUT.  I AM SO GLAD TO BE HERE DOING NCEA,hahahahhaha (than staying in korea where it is  competitive.

I will upload some pictures from 11.12.2013 until now :)

This is Tom, trying out "tire swing" he's too scared so he got off straight away oO
hahah WATER FIGHT WITH John, Tom! You're a Kiwi now. haha welcome
Tom and my mum, haha I absolutely love this photo, Tom used to get so scared of GLOrY THE CAT but then as you can see ^ they got along very well? haha.
I was so surprised  to see Glory sitting next to Tom, while he was reading book so I rushed to take a photo and woollaah. Adorable right? awww

Well I should continue more with my summer holiday stories! Thanks everyone!
Hows everyones day going?
